Andrea has worked as an associate attorney for Mello & Pickering, LLP since May 2009. Andrea graduated in the top third of her class at the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2008. Prior to earning her J.D., she received a B.A. in Psychology at the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Prior to starting her employment with Mello & Pickering, LLP, Andrea interned for the San Mateo County District Attorney's office, where she was able to hone her litigation skills by appearing in court to argue motions and preliminary hearings. In addition, she participated in USF's Child Advocacy Clinic. She represented children who had been abused, neglected or abandoned by their parents. She learned how to work with both the children and their parents to ensure that the children were safe and assisted with family reunification. It was through that experience that Andrea realized her passion for advocating for those who otherwise would not have had a voice.

Family law has given Andrea the opportunity to combine her previous experience by allowing her to use her litigation and social skills to advocate for clients during a difficult time in their lives. Andrea understands the impact a divorce and other family law issues can have on people's lives and is committed to doing everything she can to work with clients, explain the law to them, and advocate for the best results possible.

Andrea grew up in Santa Clara County and has recently returned to the area. Andrea is enjoying being near her family and friends and in her spare time she likes to go to the beach, read, and travel.
