Andrea Y. Shaheen has worked as an associate attorney for Mello & Pickering, LLP since 2008. Andrea graduated in the top 20% of her class from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2001. She has extensive litigation experience, including pre-trial motion work, discovery work, and trial. Prior to working for Mello & Pickering, LLP, Andrea worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Bustamante, O'Hara & Gagliasso in San Jose, CA.

Andrea is passionate about her work as a family law attorney. She handles a variety of complex family law cases involving domestic violence, child custody/visitation, child support, spousal support/alimony, financial property, and divorce. She also handles other areas of family law, including paternity, annulment, and legal separation.

Andrea serves on the Santa Clara University School of Law Alumni Board of Directors and is a member of the Santa Clara County and American Bar Associations. A lifelong resident of the Bay Area, Andrea is active in many local community organizations. She currently serves as a committee volunteer within the City of Campbell Public Works Department and within the Presentation High School Alumnae Association. She is also a frequent speaker and panelist for the Santa Clara University Law Career Services programs and career fairs.
